Propecia and alopecia: what is the link between them?

Androgenic alopecia is hair loss, often genetic, caused by one of the following reasons: the excessive content of the male sex hormone DHT (dehydrotestosterone) and increased sensitivity of hair follicles to DHT. Dehydrotestosterone, affecting the hair follicle, causing reduction in the growth stage, so that hair prematurely enters the stage of rest, followed by the deposition stage.

Often accompanied by signs of androgenic alopecia oily seborrhea and acne (blackheads), possible excessive hair growth on face and other body parts. In men, androgenic alopecia usually starts in front of the hairline and moving toward the top. In women, there is progressive thinning and loss of hair over the head and especially in the hair roots.

Numerous studies of the last decade have shown that Zoloft is the most effective against a broad spectrum of depressive and neurotic disorders (atypical depression, dysthymia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, posttraumatic stress disorders, etc.), including depression and dysthymia in childhood and adolescence.

Aggressiveness – significant in social terms of behavioral disorders – needs more-more careful psychopathological analysis. Of particular interest is the identification of depressive component as an important part of aggressive behavior.

Wellbutrin helps people quit smoking in acute cardiovascular disease

Wellbutrin is used to treat major depressive disorder and seasonal affective disorder. At least one brand of bupropion (Zyban) is used to help people stop smoking by reducing the traction and other effects.

Recently made study has shown, that generic Wellbutrin helped hospitalized with acute cardiovascular disease smokers to quit smoking.
Dr. Nancy Rigotti with colleagues (Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston) performed a randomized controlled clinical trial, including 248 smokers who were hospitalized with acute cardiovascular disease, mainly unstable angina or myocardial infarction. Within 12 weeks the participants were randomly assigned to receive either Wellbutrin (150mg/day) or placebo.

Celexa: how to use in elderly patients

A classic example of painful muscle spasms is lumbago (lumbar backache), which is characterized by sharp, shooting pain in the back, emerging usually during exercise (lifting weights, etc.) or an awkward movement.
