Back pain and muscle relaxants

Back pain – one of the most common patients’ complaints in general practice. Often they are caused by spinal osteochondrosis – degenerative intervertebral disc cartilage and reactive changes of the adjacent vertebral bodies.

A classic example of painful muscle spasms is lumbago (lumbar backache), which is characterized by sharp, shooting pain in the back, emerging usually during exercise (lifting weights, etc.) or an awkward movement. The patient is often frozen in an awkward position, trying to motion leads to increased pain. The examination reveals the voltage of the back muscles, usually scoliosis, flattening the lumbar lordosis and kyphosis.

Soma relieves osteochondrosis

Every second inhabitant of the Earth in his lifetime experienced recurrent back pain, which is almost 95% of cases appears due to osteochondrosis. Osteochondrosis is a degenerative-dystrophic intervertebral discs cartilage injuries, leading to the development of reactive changes of the body adjacent vertebrae and surrounding soft tissue.

Osteochondrosis is often accompanied by the development of reflex (tonic muscle) syndrome, which is a painful spasm of muscles. A classic example of reflex syndromes in osteochondrosis of the lumbosacral spine is lumbago, which is characterized by a sharp pain in the back and buttock, back of the thigh.
